Peterborough Regional Health Centre Foundation is the fund raising agency for Survivors Abreast and receipts all donations on the team's behalf.
Len Minty generously donates his time, enthusiasm, and expertise as the festival's race director.
Ontario Trillium Foundation gave a grant of $23,200 to Survivors Abreast to purchase a second dragon boat with lifejackets, paddles and boat cover.
Peterborough Marina Crary Park kindly provides docking space for the dragon boat.
Local print, radio and television media for their continued support through great
coverage of the team's fundraising events and other activities.
Draggin' Dawgs, a supporter boat made up of spouses, sons and daughters, other
relatives, friends and members of the community who have been touched by the effects of breast cancer. This loyal and determined team races in other festivals and always proves to be an enthusiastic cheering section for Survivors Abreast

Meredith Cosburn, founder of Survivors Abreast and Peterborough's Dragon Boat Festival, for following her dream. Meredith had the passion and perseverance to get a group of breast cancer survivors together who shared a common interest, being part of a dragon boat team. A few years later, she initiated the first dragon boat festival for the Peterborough community. The ever growing and successful festival, is now in its eighth year.
